April  2021

Ree Mclaughlan Brown

Each month Gallery 10 features a solo artist or a themed show that will be of special interest to the community and our collectors. A public reception is held on the first Saturday of each month to honor the participating artists. The Gallery 10 reception is held from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. with refreshments available, free of charge, to our guests. This special event is aligned with the "Amador Art Trek" a free, self-guided tour of the Gold Country's local galleries and businesses that feature local artwork.

Please check this web site at the beginning of each month to learn about our current Featured Exhibit.

Ree creates with ink, oil and cold wax, acrylic, encaustic and mixed media. Additives include alcohol, resin, metal leaf, powder, ash and charcoal.  She loves to paint on unexpected surfaces, like mineral paper, aluminum and granite.  Motion dominates the works by Ree. Her art dances with vivid color and uplifting emotion.

Please stop by during the Month of April to see her many new works.
